Sin timón & en el delirio (2021)
This is the Chilean version of Bolaño, come back homeand as such is dedicated to Mario Santiago Papasquiaro, the other wild detective, the one who responds, in the novel, to the name of Ulises Lima. It premiered in Mexico City in November 2021 after a residency at the Chopo Museum that served to incorporate local collaborators. The tour was done through the streets of the Santa María la Ribera and San Rafael neighborhoods and had an epic moment, when we served the spectators a shot of Los Suicidas mezcal, the mezcal that appears in the novel. The wild detectives and that, thanks to the complicity of the Amarás brand, we managed to "take it out" of fiction and turn it into reality.
The magic of the street is the mingling of the errand and the epiphany.
