Bolaño, vuelve a casa (2020)

Inspired by the fanzine Berthe Trépat created by Bruno Montané and Roberto Bolaño as soon as they arrived in Barcelona in the late 1970s, we imagine an apocryphal route of Bolaño through the narrow streets of the Raval, a neighborhood that inspired poems, stories and proclamations, and that still preserves a certain canallesca very much to his taste. Conceived for 25 spectators, the piece premiered in 2020 with the support of the bookstore Lata Peinada; five years later, in the city of Dallas and with the support of another bookstore -the Bolañesque The Wild Detectives-, a more apocryphal version was carried out, with the collaboration of, among other authors, Juan Villoro and Carmen Boullosa.
