¿Qué es el agua? (2022)

Premiered at the FIT festival in 2022, and with performances in Fisterra, Cádiz, Cangas do Morrazo, Barcelona, Mallorca and Veracruz (Mexico), this is a site & time specific work that takes the sea as its score and scenery. Planned with a "fixed" part and a "mobile" part, which is resolved in each location through a residency, the piece includes a tour of the beach, the appearance of a mysterious dancer who jumps from a boat, ad hoc graffiti, a moment of land-art, a band of local musicians, a sequence of documentary theater and an aquatic ending that looks very much like a ritual of Iemanjá.
